Owner / Founder
Meet Derek Quirke, the man with the vision. The brains behind the whole operation. Hands on, owner operated. Derek is the founder of Revelations Recovery and also a person in long term recovery who struggled with addiction for years himself. Since being introduced to the 12 steps and finding recovery through a treatment center in Delray Beach, FL, he has been on the front lines fighting this epidemic here in Massachusetts.
Notably, Derek started his career in this field in 2016 under the supervision of the late great Kat Michel for the ARCH Program as a Certified Recovery Coach in some of our local Emergency Rooms such as Brockton Hospital, Good Samaritan, and later went on to work for a similar overdose intervention program based out of Carney Hospital, Quincy Hospital and South Shore Hospital.
When not in the Emergency Rooms, Derek worked as a Recovery Coach at (MATC) Men's Addiction Treatment Center, a Men's Section 35 Facility, as well as (BATC) Brockton Addiction Treatment Center, a co-ed Detox & CSS. He also worked with Brockton Police Department as a Recovery Coach for a non-fatal overdose program through Plymouth County District Attorney's Office called Plymouth County Outreach, as well as The Champion Plan and Mayor Carpenter's Office in Brockton.
In his spare time Derek can be found speaking at treatment centers and recovery events all throughout our state. Although he has clearly found his purpose driven passion in life, when Derek is not working he enjoys spending every free moment he can with his two beautiful children, his girlfriend/business partner Samantha as well as with close friends and family. Derek also thoroughly enjoys cheering his son on in youth sports and coaching him in soccer, a sport which Derek played at a competitive level from a young boy to a semi-pro level as well as playing in parts of Europe. He also enjoys traveling to wherever there are palm trees and a beach.
